Alexander Fee is a Honduran-American film curator, projectionist, editor, and writer, currently serving as the film programmer for Japan Society where he leads year-round film curation and co-programs the annual film festival JAPAN CUTS: Festival of New Japanese Film. Born in Belgium and raised in Ohio, he studied Linguistics and Cinema Studies at the University of Chicago where he also served as the Programming Chair for Doc Films, the oldest student-run film society in North America. His interests include translation, subtitling and localization. Alexander has projected for the Art Institute of Chicago, Anthology Film Archives, and the Tribeca Festival.
